Problem
I am updating my IP Tables, but upon reboot the customizations are not held.

Solution
The required commands to save and make the adjustments to IPTables persistent across reboots on CIS Hardened RHEL v8 images are as follows:
{IPv4 changes}
iptables-save >/etc/sysconfig/iptables
{IPv6 changes}
iptables-save >/etc/sysconfig/ip6tables
The iptables configurations are stored in the /etc/sysconfig/ directory
