Problem
After cloning our Packer script, SSH constantly times out when pointing to different systems.
Solution
CIS Azure Red Hat Enterprise Linux offerings do support SSH connectivity on creation.
Between Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Red Hat made changes to the cryptography for SSH-RSA by removing an older version. To get the script to work, you will need a later version of Packer (e.g., 1.8.6) that is compiled with new crypto libraries where the results are as expected.
