I am updating my IP Tables, but upon reboot the customizations are not held. |
Solution
The required commands to save and make the adjustments to IPTables persistent across reboots on CIS Hardened RHEL v8 images is as follows:
{IPv4 changes}
iptables-save >/etc/sysconfig/iptables
{IPv6 changes}
iptables-save >/etc/sysconfig/ip6tables
The iptables configurations are stored in that /etc/sysconfig/ directory
