To locate your Organization’s WorkBench Dashboard and User Management

  1. Login to CIS WorkBench

  2. Locate your user account in the upper right hand corner of the page and click on your username

  3. In the now-available dropdown, select your organization's name

  4. You are now in your Organization’s WorkBench Dashboard

Implementation Steps

  1. “I am the WorkBench manager Workbench Company Manager for my organization, how can I edit one of my user’s names/ positions/ emails/ etc.?”

    1. Navigate to the Organization’s Dashboard>

    2. Navigate to ‘Manage Users’>

    3. Locate and select the user who needs to be modified>

    4. Select the pencil icon to ‘Edit Users’>

    5. Update the necessary information and Submit

  2. “I am the WorkBench manager Workbench Company Manager for my organization, how can I promote another CIS Workbench user to manager of the Organization?”

    1. Navigate to the Organization’s Dashboard>

    2. Navigate to ‘Manage Users’>

    3. Locate and select the user who needs to be promoted>

    4. Select the up arrow icon to ‘Promote to Company Manager>

  3. “I am the WorkBench manager for my organization and I have employees who are no longer working with the organization or who I do not want to have access to the paid SecureSuite resources, how do I Delete or Remove them?”

    1. Go to the Organization’s Dashboard>

    2. Select ‘Manage Users’>

    3. Locate the user who needs to be Removed or Deleted>

    4. Select the user with an X icon to ‘Remove from Company' or select the garbage icon to ‘Delete user’ permanently

Warning

Removing a User from the Company does not delete the account and the form WorkBench. The User can still access the free CIS resources, but not the SecureSuite resources . such as your organization’s tailored Benchmarks and the CIS-CAT Product Suite

Warning

Deleting a User will remove the user’s entire WorkBench account and they will need to re-register or be added by the Organizations Account Manager
