Problem
I can run a successful Assessment using Assessor-CLI v4.+ but I am unable to run a successful Assessment using the Assessor v4 GUI.
Solution
The problem likely lies in the location of your \Assessor-CLI Directory. White Spaces in the local file path can stop the GUI from successfully completing an Assessment - even if the application launches and you are able to select the desired Benchmark.
Navigate to your \Assessor-CLI directory
If the directory is in a location with spaces in the file path, for example
C:\Program Files
orC:\CIS File Share
Move the \Assessor-CLI directory to a location with no Whitespaces in the File Path.
If you have configuration files that have been modified to contain the File Path to Assessor-CLI, you will need to update those .config files accordingly
