When do you need to install Java?
Solution
You do not need Java installed on the Assessor v4.35+ GUI to run an assessment.
You need to install java if you are using the CLI to run an assessment. Please refer to this section of the CIS-CAT Pro Assessor Configuration Guide for additional details regarding the use of Java with Assessor.
