Problem
A benchmark used to be integrated into CIS-CAT Pro Assessor but I can no longer find that assessment content in the newest version of CIS-CAT Pro Assessor
Solution
If you would like a specific OVAL and XCCDF content for an existing Benchmark that is no longer integrated into Assessor, but used to be integrated into older Assessor versions, you can obtain the end of life content, information regarding the last applicable CIS-CAT Pro version, and CIS Benchmarks not accompanied by a final release but have reached end of life here: CIS Benchmark End of Life XML Automated Assessment Content. That bundle is updated with End of Life files after each release.
If you need to continue to use the end of life content, we recommend utilizing the CIS-CAT Pro version for which the CIS Benchmark was last supported. The end of life CIS Benchmarks may continue to work with newer versions of CIS-CAT Pro, but are not officially supported.
The CIS Benchmarks contained in the zip file have reached end of life. CIS no longer officially supports use of the listed CIS Benchmarks. CIS understands that organizations sometimes need additional time to migrate systems over to more current technology. CIS has provided the assessment files necessary for automated assessments in this zip file for Member convenience.
An Excel file is included that identifies the last version of CIS-CAT that the automated assessment content was included. We will continue to update this zip file and list as we move other CIS Benchmark content to the end of life stage.
