Problem

I am using the free CSAT Hosted version at this time. How do I delete users? Also, how do I completely delete an organization or my own account?

Solution

  1. Users can be disabled but not deleted. If a user has to be deleted, a ticket can be submitted and we (CIS Staff) can do that on the backend.

  2. Sub-organizations can be deleted. Organization Admins can do so with the following steps (It is important that the user is sure they want to delete that organization and all of its data because it is an irreversible action):

    1. Ensure that they have their Primary organization selected in the Organizations menu on the left.

    2. Click Administration on the left menu.

    3. Find the sub-organization that they want to delete on the Administration page and click its “Delete” button.

    4. Entering the one-time passcode that they receive in their email to confirm the deletion.

  3. Primary organizations can’t be deleted. If the user wants to delete their entire CSAT organization, that would require a submission of a support ticket from the Primary Owner.

It’s important to note that this info applies to CIS-Hosted CSAT. Some of this info is different for CSAT Pro.

Please ensure that the user is sure they want to delete that organization and all of its data because it is an irreversible action
