Problem
I have noticed one or more “False Failures/ False Passes” when running CIS-CAT Pro Assessor against certain Fedora 19 based Linux Benchmarks.
Solution
The Fedora Linux 19 Family, which includes but is not limited to the following, are all in the process of being updated for their vNEXT release:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
Oracle Linux 7
Rocky Linux 7
Alma Linux OS 7
This update will include a fix for certain assessment “bugs”, as well as other updates, additions, and removals.

In the interim, you can elect to skip a check on the Benchmark Assessment to eliminate any of the false results. You can follow these steps to skip a check when running an CIS-CAT Pro assessment
