Problem

I appreciate I can fork a benchmark and then delete all the settings one by one until I have what I require, but I would like to know if there is a quicker way to achieve this by starting with a ‘Blank' Benchmark.

Solution

  • Fork the desired Benchmark(Quick Start Guide: Tailoring Benchmarks)

  • On the forked Benchmark select Edit:

  • Select the Profiles tab. Add a new custom profile and delete all the other profiles:

    Save the changes.

  • Select Profiles:

  • Go through and select which recommendations you would like added to your custom profile:

The Benchmark recommendations will stay in the Benchmark to retain the structure. When you export the Benchmark to use in Assessor, you will only have one profile option that will contain your selected recommendations. Running the Benchmark with that custom profile will only assess and score the recommendations you selected.
