HSIN Cyber Alert Map: Alert Level Update Process

  1. Select your state within the map on the home screen of the MS-ISAC community. The MS-ISAC community page can be accessed here:

https://hsin.dhs.gov/collab/cisacyber/ms-isac/Pages/default.aspx.

  1. A new page will open after selecting your state on the map. Select the option of “Manage Region” on the right-hand side of this page:

3. The following options will be available:

4. The “Edit Alert Level” option allows for a new “Level” to be selected, such as “Low” or “Guarded”. Alternatively, the option of “Edit Alert Level” also allows a user to maintain the current level, but enter a new text description of cyber activity in the “Details” field.

5. Save the entered text and/or alert level by selecting the option of “Save Alert Level”.
