CIS Product Support can assist with the following troubleshooting scenarios:
Issues related to the initial start of the VM, or any default configurations / settings that do not work as expected out-of-the-box (see: https://cisecurity.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/15/article/2443935833 )
Questions regarding hardening modifications compared to a base OS image

CIS Product Support cannot provide assistance for the following usage cases:
Integration of the CIS Hardened Image into automated processes & pipeline workflows (Terraform, Ansible, sysprep): Issues with automated builds using CIS Hardened Images
Support for third-party software, applications and/or tools that are not already part of the Hardened Image upon initialization. These inquiries should generally be directed to the application vendor or resolved through available public documentation and community discussion boards.
Examples of the above include but are not limited to:Applications such as QuickBooks, added server roles & services such as Microsoft IIS or nginx
Antimalware / IDS / IPS systems & agents such as CrowdStrike or Symantec
Using the CIS Hardened Image as part of a build pipeline or automation workflow
Replacing the preconfigured
