Problem

I am having trouble getting CSAT Pro to start.

Here are some troubleshooting steps if you are having difficulty getting CSAT Pro started.

Check to see if the CSAT_Pro Service is running:

  1. Open the Services app (you may have to run as administrator)

  2. Locate CSAT_Pro Windows

  3. The Status should be Running.

If the Status column is blank:

  • Right click the CSAT_Pro Service

  • Start the Service (If the Start option is grayed out, open Services as an administrator)

Check to see if the Neo4j Service is running:

  1. Open the Services app (you may have to run as administrator)

  2. Locate Neo4j Graph Database – neo4j

  3. The Status should be Running.

If the Status column is blank:

  • Right click the Neo4j Service

  • Start the Service (If the Start option is grayed out, open Services as an administrator)

Check the Neo4j Database version:

CSAT Pro is only compatible with Neo4j Community Edition 3.5. Check the Neo4j zip file you downloaded to make sure you are using a version of Community Edition 3.5, preferably the latest version.

If you do not have the correct version, you will have to reinstall CSAT Pro with the correct version.

  1. Follow the uninstall instructions here:

https://csat.readthedocs.io/en/stable/source/CSAT%20Pro%20Deployment/#uninstalling-cis-csat-pro

2. Download Neo4j Community Edition 3.5 here:

https://neo4j.com/download-center/#community  Do not use Version 4 of the Neo4j Database

**Leave the file zipped**

3. Do a fresh install of CSAT Pro with it pointing to the Neo4j Database Community Edition 3.5 zip file.
