Problem
CIS-CAT Pro Assessor crashes unexpectedly with a Windows error saying “ciscat.exe has stopped working”.
Solution
Update the Windows machine with the latest patches.
To install the update now, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them. Then try the scan again.
