Problem
The SecureSuite license format has been modified. Prior versions of licensed SecureSuite tools are not compatible with the updated SecureSuite v2.0 license.
Prior format of the SecureSuite license will not be supported as of April 1, 2024.
Impact
The updated SecureSuite v2 license effects current Members downloading a SecureSuite License on or after November 17, 2023. CIS-CAT Pro Assessor and Dashboard and CSAT Pro versions must be updated in order for the tools to be fully operational. The current tool versions will still be compatible with the prior SecureSuite license format as well as the new SecureSuite v2 format.

Improved validation
Future in-tool alerts on approaching expiration dates
More flexibility for license revocations should a single license become compromised
Tools MUST be updated to be compatible with updated SecureSuite v2 license.xml file if license is downloaded on or after November 17, 2023.

CSAT Pro v1.14+
CIS-CAT Pro Dashboard v3.3.0+
CIS-CAT Pro Assessor v4.35.0+
Released versions of SecureSuite tools after April 1, 2024 must utilize only SecureSuite License v2. When utilizing a SecureSuite tool released after April 1, 2024, only SecureSuite License v2 will be compatible.
SecureSuite license MUST be updated to be compatible with SecureSuite tools released after April 1, 2024.

Navigate to your SecureSuite Organization on WorkBench
Locate the License Tab
Click Download
“CIS-SecureSuite-Product-License.zip” file present on system
Unzip downloaded file and place license.xml file per instructions outlined in the CSAT Pro Guide, CIS-CAT Pro Dashboard Guide, and CIS-CAT Pro Assessor Guide
