CSAT Pro Forgot Username/Password Option Not Working

Problem
CSAT Pro is configured for email, but the forgot username/password option is not sending the reset email, and the following error message appears in the csat
log file: STARTTLS is required to send mail
Solution
Stop the
CSAT_Pro Windows
service by navigating to the Windows Services Manager and click StopNavigate to the
C:\Program Files\CSAT_Pro\logs\csatlogs
folder and search for the following error message:STARTTLS is required to send mail
If the STARTTLS error message is present in the log file, then navigate to the
C:\Program Files\CSAT_Pro\conf
folderOpen the
csat-config.yml
fileUnder the “
mail
" section, locate the following line:mail.smtp.starttls.enable:""
Change this line to “true” in order to enable STARTTLS:
mail.smtp.starttls.enable: "true"
7. Save the file
8. Restart the CSAT_Pro Windows
service in Windows Service Manager
