Yes, it is possible to customize a hardened image. Please follow the respective cloud service provider’s instructions on the creation and retention of an image in that environment.

*User note, should an error arise it will not be possible for CIS to support due to the fact that these images were hardened before release and customization of the image is no longer within the scope of CIS Support.*
