When I import the GPO from the CIS Build kit, it fails or is empty

Problem

GPO import is failing, or the AD GPO is empty when importing from the CIS Build Kit.

The biggest issue people have with the Build Kits is that the files can get corrupted in the unzip process due to the long filenames

Please navigate back to the CIS WorkBench Downloads page and re-download the CIS Build Kit.

Important: Unzip the files to a shorter named directory structure i.e. C:\\Temp\
